Wedding Photographers

Intimate wedding photography requires the trained eye of a journalist, the formal sense of an artist, and the timing of a courtier. Seeing is an active - not a passive - sense. An endless stream of images glide past the eyes of the photographer. And from this wealth of colors, faces, rhythms, flavors, and locations the photographer must select, frame and stage those elements which reveal the soul of the moment. With over ten years of experience as a commercial and award-winning journalistic photographer, joshcurrently works as a freelancer in New York City. His clients include Fleet Bank, Canter Fitzgerald, Chusman & Wakefield, Cooney Waters Group. In addition, he worked for several newspapers including The Minnesota dailey, Minneapolis, MN, The St. Louis Post Dispatch, St. Louis, MO, and the photo Editor for A&E in Minneapolis. In 1996 Josh was chosen to atten the prestigious Eddie Adams Workshop and received numerous awards including the Society of Professional Journalis first Place award for Feature Photography. his photo project "Street Portraits" recently exhibitied in New York City. Josh is best known as a documentary style portrait artist, with a playful, quirky edge. he currently lives in New York City with his wiode and fat cat.
